Preparación de contratos y supervisión de obra para proyectos de construcción marítima.
Successfully communicating the design of marine works infrastructure is essential in order to ensure its implementation in a timely and cost effective manner.
The preparation of concise, unambiguous and project specific contract documentation plays an important role in this regard.
PRDW has extensive experience in the preparation, administration and site supervision of marine works contracts, including:
> Contract documentation
> Procurement process
> Quality documentation
> Risk management
> Site supervision and dealing with site queries
PRDW has vast experience in FIDIC, NEC, CESA, CIDB as well as Consult Australia contracts. PRDW uses this experience to carry out effective technical quality monitoring, to provide appropriate technical site support during the construction phase and to assist the Employer and Contractor in managing risk.
Risk management during the construction phase consists of a collaborative process which includes risk workshops, risk review meetings, implementation of risk treatment plans and the maintenance of a risk register.
In support of key technical engineering staff deployed to site, PRDW’s office based specialist quantity surveyors provide contract administration services such as administrating payment certificates and variations as well as assisting the Client with contractual matters such as claims and dispute resolution.
During the construction phase, the site supervision team is required to implement a design compliance quality control plan (DCQCP) which is aimed at directing the quality management focus onto critical areas.
PRDW has been involved in construction supervision for the following typical infrastructure projects within the coastal zone:
> Revetments and coastal protection
> Sand bypass systems
> Ports, harbours and marinas
> Dredging and reclamation
> Quay facilities
> Subsea pipelines
> Aids to navigation
> Seawater intake and outfall systems
