Senior Draftsman

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

10 years’ experience in drafting heavy infrastructure e.g. ports, bridges, water retaining structures, etc.
Relevant built environment drafting certificate or diploma

Competency in:

• 2D drafting from concept to detailed engineering
• Working in coordinate space and being ability to transform data
• Processing raw survey data and generating contours
• Setting out and detailing civil services
• Calculating cut and fill volumes
• Reinforcing details and schedules
• Diagrams for study reports
• Drafting of pipelines, breakwaters, navigation

Competency in the following software:

• AutoCAD2D, Civil 3D, 3Ds Max (Simflex), Excel, Revit

Key responsibilities:

• Senior role within the Cape Town Design Office
• Candidate must be able to demonstrate experience in planning and managing Design Office resources
  and deliverables
• Candidate must be able to demonstrate a keen interest in mentoring and growing the department
