Bursary programme 2025
Applications close on 30 September 2024!
PRDW’s bursary programme aims to provide funding for academically deserving students who do not have the financial means to study full time towards a degree at a public university or university of technology. The aim of the programme is to assist students in realising their potential with a future in engineering.

Minimum criteria:
- South African citizen or permanent resident
- Full-time student pursuing a BSc or BEng in Civil Engineering at an accredited South African university
- Successfully completed at least the second year of studies (we’re not awarding bursaries to first-year students)
- Maintained a minimum overall average of 65%
- Completing vacation work with the company is a requirement of the bursary program, so being within a reasonable distance from Cape Town is important.
