PRDW provides a range of marine infrastructure solutions for the import and export of hydrocarbons including jetties, buoys and submarine pipelines.

MARINE WORKS AND STUDIES
To support the development of our port infrastructure solutions, PRDW offers advanced numerical modelling in coastal engineering, metocean and hydrodynamic studies, sediment transport, navigation, vessel motions and seismic analysis.
MARINAS AND WATERFRONTS
PRDW has designed the marine aspects of many marinas and waterfronts for leisure and commercial purposes including the iconic V&A Waterfront in Cape Town.
LNG Quintero: Unloading jetty
EPC contract for the design and construction of a new jetty for LNG vessels up to 265 000m³.
Port of Ngqura: Dredging and excavation of temporary bund
Dredging specialist expertise during the execution of capital dredging works for two new container berths.
LNG Mejillones: Unloading jetty
Maritime civil works for two berths for LNG ships, one for a permanent FSRU in its first phase and the other for unloading LNG.
Puerto Coronel: Containers terminal
New container terminal for ships up to an overall length of 300m and 13.5m draft. Was subjected to the earthquake and tsunami of 27F without damages.
Koeberg Nuclear Power Station: Cooling water intake basin
Site data collection, feasibility studies, licensing reports, in addition to the detailed design of the breakwaters, pump house structures and the cooling water outfall.
Victoria and Alfred Waterfront: Marine works infrastructure
Core marine engineering consultants to the professional team, in which capacity they have been involved with various projects in the waterfront.
Puerto San Antonio: Costanera terminal
Inland, offshore and land reclamation works for a new container terminal for the new “Costanera” port sites in San Antonio. The project comprises the design of a 700 m long pier, as well as modifications to the existing breakwater and to the existing sites 4 and 5.
Pluspetrol Camisea: LPG offshore terminal
New marine facility for the shipment of gas and liquid products, located app. 3 km from the coastline.
